I preliminärrapporten är resultaten bara redovisade i figur- och tabellform här följer några förklaringar för tabellrubrikerna: medelvärde, konsensus standardavvikelse max - min variationskoefficient antal värden i de statistiska beräkningarna uteslutna (outliers, mindre-än värden) Slutrapport publiceras senast vecka på http://enviropro.itm.su.se/rapporter/dokument Youdendiagram där analysresultaten representeras av värdepar PROV+PROV. Talparens placering visar ifall resultaten innehåller systematiska eller slumpmässiga avvikelser. Ett cirkelformat spridningsmönster indikerar en slumpmässig fördelning utan påtagliga systematiska fel. Är spridningsmönstret däremot samlat ovalt utefter 5 linjen är materialet behäftat med systematiska avvikelser. Histogram (eller frekvensdiagram) där antalet fall i ett intervall (t.ex. x µg/l stort eller diagramstaplarnas bredd) är avsatt mot halterna i intervallet. En jämn och symmetrisk fördelning med högsta antalet fall i närheten av medelvärdet, tyder på ett normalt beteende hos det statistiska materialet. En asymmetrisk fördelning eller ett histogram med flera tydliga maxima tyder däremot på komplikationer t.ex. metodproblem, homogenitetsproblem eller dylikt. Preliminary Report for Proficiency Test 5- The samples in this test round were municipal wastewater (Part A) and paper industry wastewater (Part B). Results in the preliminary report are shown only in tables and charts. Explanations for the abbreviations used in the table heads and translations for some key words: Prov Mean Stdev Range CV% n Excl. The figures in the report are: Suspended solids: TSS, Fixed solids, Coarse particles Sample average, consensus standard deviation max - min coefficient of variation number of values used in the statistical calculations excluded values (outliers, less-than values) The final report will be published by week at http://enviropro.itm.su.se/rapporter/dokument Youden diagrams where the results are represented as value pairs Sample+Sample (PROV+PROV). The position of the value pairs reveals both systematic and random errors. Data scattered circularly around the centre are randomly distributed with no specific systematic errors; whereas data gathered along the 5 axis indicate the presence of systematic errors. Histograms (or frequency diagrams) where the result range is divided into equal intervals along the x-axis and each bar represents the number of results in that interval. A normal statistical material is characterised by an even, symmetrical distribution with the majority of data centred around the mean. An asymmetric distribution or more than one obvious maximum indicates complications, for example problems with the method, homogeneity or such.
