EXAMPLE Reflecting/describing the project with the four questions I`m going to find out about school in America, maybe as a story but I m not sure now. The title: at High School.I work with this: looking for facts at websites, in our English book, I contact a friend living in the US.I will present it as a newspaper article with several pictures. How did you start? I had read an article. I started to rewrite it ore short. It is about a girl in High School. She wants to demonstrate against the invasion of Iraq and together with some friends they do this by arranging for some kids to wear anti-war T-shirts. But the police stop them. The police say it was too political and that the T-shirts are a threat, to other people views. Then I looked up some facts about school. I wanted to know what school was called. Then I needed to use words and expressions like yttrandefrihet and I wanted to know what a law is called:.freedom of speech. Bill of Rights. Is the T-shirt an American invention? What sources (= källor) did you use? (Websites, books, other source) I searched on Google on these words: Schoolsystem in the US. I got several suggestions. It was easy to find facts: Wikipedia, americancorner.org.tw,tyda.se. I read the article from the site:kiosken.se What did you find out? Many things: Högstadiet is High School. Most schools are public that is to say not private You go in High School for four years. The federal government and the state provide the public school. But there are also private alternatives. They are often very severe and can dismiss pupils that do not behave.the Bill of rights are old: The first amendment of ten in this law protects the freedom of speech but it must come with a duty to act responsibly. What did you not find out? I forgot to look up the background of T-shirt, if it comes from the U.S or not? What was the difficult/easy part of this project? To read facts was difficult because words about law and politics are hard to understand. The easy part was to take photos even if it meant that I had to print a text on a T-shirt. So I learned that practical printing-part as well but it took some time
