LUNDOERG EXPLORATIONS LIMITED VICTORY 8 RICHMOND IIIT. intey TORONTO I, ONT.
LUNDSERO EXPLORATIONS LIMITEO cr v.coutv ElLoo 8 RiCmmeINCI ST WEST 7 ONTO I ONT April 22nd, 1954. Orkla Grube-Aktiebolag, IjekkenVerk, NORGE. Gentlemens Referringto your lettera of tle 16th of Februaryand the 3th of Mardh,we send you herewithmap showinganomalyreoordingson Linee 2 to 13, both north and south of the cable, as you requested. On this map I also show my interpretationof the anomaliesthat cannot be accountedfor from known artificialconductors. It is no eurpriseto me that in the ground aurveysthey do not obtain the same anomaliesas we recorded in the airbornesurveye. As I alreadywrote you on March 24th, the effects from the ground itaelf many timee overehadow-the weaker anomaliesthat are obtained from conductorsat greaterdepth. May I suggestthat a test be made by usingthe ore as the one electrodeand stretch cable from the ehaft along Line 1 or 9 some 1 to 15 kilometersnorth-westfrom ths mine and there make groundingthat is suf f icientlygood so that the cable could carry 4 to 5 amperes. If this ie correotlymade, and the ore body exists at the depth of soms 4 metres, as we expect, profilesobservedacross the anomaly outlinedby me shouldbe possibleto oonfirmby ground surveys, keeping in mind that euch profilesshouldextend at lecat 3 kilometerson each side of the anomaly. Yours very truly, rew Hans Lundberg

On the secund map the effects of the»nuwn artifictal conductcre have been eltminated ao that this map should show only anomalies caused by geological featurea, mineralized zones or ore-budie.;. Certain complicatiuns naturully where encounted in veeding out the effects of the artificial conductors near the mtre but it is hoped that the anomalies left here reasunably well corresp_nl ti ore left in the mine Without knowing anythtn)3 of the general or lucal geology an interpretation uf the result is rather diffienit. It is theref.jre aug;ested..hat after the maps have been studied a meeting be arranged for between the companys geologist anl the writer ;before "flc.t.-jber 6th when the writer returns to Canala:. Å few points ight be mentioned as a start. According to our interpretation the ore body being mined should extend at dephts in a northwesterly directiun fullowing a couree bent towards north. '2hie course is difficult to comprehend unless the general dip of the flrmation flattens out towards the north.
