RECENSION Noahic (Noah s) Covenant The main features of this covenant are: it was entirely instituted by God, it was universal in scope, applying not only to Noah and his seed after him but to every living creature, it was unconditional, and it was everlasting. In it God undertook from his own free lovingkindness never again to destroy all with a flood. REVIEW Mitchell, T. C. Noah. Ed. D. R. W. Wood et al. New Bible dictionary 1996 : 827. Print.

The mission of God The whole Bible could be portrayed as a very long answer to a very simple question: What can God do about the sin and rebellion of the human race? Genesis 12 through Revelation 22 is God s answer to the question posed by the bleak narratives of Genesis 3-11. Christopher Wright, The Mission of God, 195
