I See
Background: Films we have done
Theme of the I SEE project Seeing the big picture
We are inspired by A mirror of the essential unity of man worldwide.
Our initial idea: Take a camera with 5-8 lenses...
it could look like this as well
... and place it in interesting places (if you can get permission) Tokyo
... send the images live and direct via internet and project them in a room in an exhibition hall anywhere in the world
Museums in India, US, Tanzania as well as Sweden and China can have the same exhibition - at the same time. The whole exhibition is a number of real time rooms connected with pre-recorded corridors.
one room can be live an direct from a desert...
or a beehive...
from an electronic microscope...
... or from the border between Africa and Europe
To avoid exotism... one can watch and communicate from both sides
London Nairobi
Here are some other possible rooms
Real windows from around the world - in real time. Lean out, look up, look down, left or right and talk to people in the street.
Touching people on the other side of the world. Norrköping, Sweden Patna, India
Communicate in your own language - direct, live with voice translation Stockholm Shanghai
Eat and communicate with people live and direct in other countries One table - two countries Hongkong Cairo
The exhibition will be a closed unit OUT IN
Like walking in a movie
the corridors (between the rooms)
In the corridors we will project pre-recorded moving pictures and sound (to strengthen the story)
The goal of the exhibition is: To expose the big picture and stimulate a broad audience to communicate across borders and inspire to a wider sense of global belonging and interdependence
