Let s shape the future of urban development together The politicians agenda - 700,000 new homes and fossil-free transport within 15 years. Activity Based City is a concrete example of how this can be achieved. We have ideas about the good city where people live, work and meet; and where we use today s and tomorrow s digital services to build a community where people want to live - for a long time. We are ready to work together with politicians and academia to realise the Activity Based City.

Main principles Focus on people Putting the needs of people first. Building society A public transport hub with community activities in place early, for a living city. Innovative and connected At the forefront of new solutions. Digitization, workplaces, housing, culture and mobility. Achievable Economically motivated, financed and developed on market terms - for all people. Community Centre, Offices, Apartments Large Blocks Small Blocks Town Houses Detached Housing

Key principles Density Densely populated with city qualities that create the basis and conditions for private and public service. Inclusive Open, safe and welcoming. Life between buildings is attractive and encourages the meeting of poeple. Accessible It is easy to move, cycle or walk within the city. It is also easy to travel with public transport to and from other places. The city contributes to the goal of a fossil-free Sweden. Flexible The concept is possible to develop under different conditions. It can be brand new neighborhoods in connection with existing or new infrastructure, but it can also be urban development in connection with existing areas. Inclusive and vibrant A densely populated, open and welcoming urban environment, where life between buildings is attractive and encourages the meeting of people. High density and multifunctional development High density and multifunctional development provides the foundation for a good level of service making everyday life easier.
