Studiemedel för utbytesstudier 3
Vad är utbytesstudier? Enligt Wikipedia: Utbytesstudier omfattar studenter, utbytesstudenter, som ingår i ett internationellt utbytesprogram mellan lärosäten. Ett utbytesprogram är ett avtal som är arrangerat mellan dels en skola (universitet, högskola eller gymnasie) i hemlandet och dels en skola i det främmande landet. På så sätt får ett begränsat antal studenter i moderlandet möjlighet att studera vid det utländska lärosätet, medan det utländska lärosätet parallellt skickar studenter till det första landet. På det viset är studierna för utbytesstudenten kostnadsfria vid det utländska universitetet 4
Studiernas omfattning Studierna måste pågå under minst 3 veckor och kan vara på deltid (50 %). Skolan i Sverige ska intyga att studierna i sin helhet kan tillgodoräknas i utbildningen 5
Utbytesstudier och tillgodoräknande Antagningsbevis från mottagande skola behövs inte vid utbytesstudier uppgift i LADOK Om den mottagande skolan inte har fastställd studietid måste ett intyg bifogas från skolan Omfattningen beräknas på högskolepoäng i förhållande till antal studieveckor 6
Utbytesstudier och tillgodoräknande Uppgiften ska registreras i LADOK eller blankett 5524 fyllas i av skolan, finns på csn.se I LADOK ska framgå: Var du ska läsa Universitet/högskola i utlandet Under vilken termin Hur många poäng du får tillgodoräkna dig för utbytet 7
Förberedande språkkurs Studiemedel kan ges för förberedande språkkurs som avslutas med ett slutprov eller examen Ansök om språkkursen i en separat ansökan Skicka med: ifylld språkblankett (Blankett 5509 W), finns på www.csn.se Måste normalt vara minst tre veckor, om inte precis i anslutning till utbytesstudierna. 8

Studietider För att du ska veta hur mycket studiemedel du kan få, har CSN på förhand fastställt antalet veckor med studiemedel för några länder. I övriga länder gäller den faktiska studietiden som skolan i studielandet ska intyga genom exempelvis utdrag från Internet. Utbetalning Månadsutbetalning - men möjlighet till förskott: Lån till resa och försäkring betalas alltid innan studiestart tidigast tre veckor innan Övriga studiemedel kan betalas ut i förskott som engångsutbetalning vid behov, exempelvis om du måste betala flera hyror förskott. Du måste styrka behovet. Det kommer en fråga i ansökan om du behöver få utbetalning i förskott 19

How was it to be away? Expectations: great difference to any place I have ever visited before, language problems Preparation: START EARLY! Visa takes time, also book your flight early so that you save money, ask people that where there before, HOUSING! Course application (3 AM for me) Tips: Get the subway app: Seoul metro is your friends! Take the airport shuttle bus or metro : cheaper and just as convenient, pack strategically! Be prepared that housing is very expensive and tiny!
Cultural Encouters Be open minded, If you live by everything is different here you wont get such a culture shock Stick to your buddy and try as many new things as possible Join a team or a club- great to keep you busy and to meet new people Make Korean friends- KUBA or similar groups are great for this.

My exchange - From a 1 room apartment to a shared accomadation with 6 spoiled teenagers. - This is the time for be adventorus. - AMAZING!
Don t worry, be Happy Breakfast meeting with Rotary Climbed the highest mountain in England! Got stuck in a train, travelled 2 extra stops. People in England are very friendly and helpful!
Practical for the exchange * Accomodation- Everything will work out. Search through universities facebook pages, local partners or private accomodation. Private accomodation was the best thing I decided to do. Flights- Look at airports near by. Worcester= Looked both London, Birmingham & Bristol.
Packing- The same as the applying part- start weeks in advance. Bring somthing that reminds of home! (You will get homesick) Modules- England, try out of modules 2 weeks, then decide. Me- No changes at the host uni.
My top 3 1. Bring something that reminds you of home 2. Be open-minded and open-hearted. 3. ENJOY LIFE, LIFE IS AN ADVENTURE!
