Målsättning/syfte att bättre förstå hur vi kan minska användningen av energi och naturresurser, minska de miljöskadliga utsläppen och förstå betydelsen av att öka användningen av förnybara material och energikällor inom byggd miljö med hänsyn tagen till ekonomiska och sociala faktorer

Ny kurs - Grundnivå Energi- och klimateffektivt byggande, 7.5hp HT 2012 Innehåll kunskap om energi- och materialflöden i den byggda miljön. energianvändning över en byggnads livscykeln med olika energiförsörjningssystem. Miljökonsekvenser vid produktion av byggnader med olika bärande material (t.ex. trä, betong, metaller). Undervisningen består av föreläsningar, seminarier, övningar, och projektarbeten.

Ambition - Energihushållning på byggnadsnivå och dess interaktion med energitillförselsystemet 1. Olika energihushållningsåtgärder studeras noggrant i två befintliga (typ) byggnader 2. Betydelsen av byte till energisnåla hushållsapparater och energisnål belysning analyseras 3. Betydelsen av klimatförändringar analyseras 4. Hur energihushållningsåtgärderna påverkar dagens energitillförselsystem simuleras timme för timme 5. Kostnadsminimerad energitillförsel med beaktandet av olika omvärldsutvecklingar simuleras Målsättningen är att kunna dra generella slutsatser om under vilka förutsättningar olika energihushållningsåtgärder är effektiva att genomföra relaterat till olika energitillförselsystem
Ambition - Uppvärmning av och energianvändning i nya byggnader 1. Energianvändningen över byggnadernas livscykel analyseras i nybyggnadsområden och vid förtätning av bebyggelse 2. Olika uppvärmningssystem såsom fjärrvärme, eldrivna värmepumpar och direktel med eller utan solvärmebaserade system analyseras 3. Möjligheterna att uppföra passivhus studeras 4. Betydelsen av klimatförändringar analyseras 5. Betydelsen av nybyggnadsområdets storlek och byggnadernas geografiska täthet analyseras 6. Hur olika omvärldsutvecklingar kan påverka val av uppvärmningssystem och optimala energianvändningsnivåer analyseras Målsättningen är att kunna dra generella slutsatser om under vilka förutsättningar som olika uppvärmningssystem är att föredra och vilka energianvändningsnivåer som då är optimala
