Yearbook of Educational Statistics 2007 Preface The following report contains updated tables for 2007 for the Yearbook of Education Statistics. It contains comprehensive and detailed tables and time series. In addition to data from Statistics Sweden s own surveys, education statistics produced by other authorities and organisations are included. The Yearbook of Education Statistics is published in two separate parts, an annual section with tables and a commentary section every third year. The tables section is only issued in printed format when the commentary section is published. The tables report is issued in both Excel and PDF formats. The next printed tables section is planned to be published in November 2007. The commentary section, last published in January 2005, contains descriptive and analytical texts, diagrams and overview tables. The section with tables for the Yearbook of Education Statistics 2007 has been produced by Peter Hedberg. Gunilla Dahlén, Anna Gärdqvist, Johan Lindberg and Lars-Olov Sundh have participated as an editorial board. All work with education statistics at Statistics Sweden. A note of thanks We would like to express appreciation to our survey respondents the people, enterprises, government authorities and other institutions of Sweden with whose cooperation Statistics Sweden is able to provide reliable and timely statistical information meeting the current needs of our modern society.
