During 2005, Kalmar AB is liquidated and receivers settle the claim in full with a payment of 10 MSEK. a) Illustrate the events by T accounts. Example 2 (6 grades) In January 2009 a Swedish publishing firm plans to sell a three year magazine to 1000 subscribers in Borås. The magazine supposed to be published quarterly. The subscription plan requires prepayment by the subscribers (customers). The full subscription price is 1200 (12 x 100 per issue) kr. At the beginning of 2009 the publishing firm receive 1200 x 1000 = 1200 000 kr. To help financing the publishing firm takes 400 000 three-year loan from a bank on January 1, 2009. The interest rate is 10%. According to a contract the interest rate and loan should be paid after three years (31 December year 2011). The cost of publishing and distributing the magazine amounts to 240 000 kr. per year.
