Pedagogic expertise 2000 Started a 20- credits course on Out door education. This course was aimed at teachers and pre school teachers and was located at Södertälje Nature School. The course has been extremely popular and many hundreds of applicants have participated. 2001 Produced an educational handbook for Stockholms miljöförvaltning (Stockholm Environmental Agency). This material called, Framtidsfolket Om hållbar utveckling i
skolan (People of the future sustainable development in schools) was directed to upper secondary level students in Stockholm schools. 2002 2003 Worked together with the institution for Physical Geography at Stockholm University implemented a project that involved educating some 50- teachers in Botkyrka community on environment and sustainable development. This course was made up of four 5- credits modules and ran for two years. 2003-2004 Involved in a national project called Hus-projektet. This project was sponsored by The Swedish National Agency for School Improvement. In this project I together with a colleague lead a team of 20 teachers from Stockholm to develop a teaching plan for sustainable development. Created and wrote, together with a colleague, The Swedish National Agency for school improvement s national certification and award system for sustainable development Utmärkelsen skola/förskola för hållbar utveckling (Schools/pre schools award for Sustainable Development). As a continuation of this work I have also contributed to workshops and in-service education. 2006-2007 Did a pedagogical revision and translation of WWF:s British worksheet Pathways, Development Framework for School Sustainability (Framtidsstigar). The material is offered as a support for schools when they work to change their education for sustainable development. Worked for the Swedish Agency of Education and interviewed a number of chemistry teachers about their teaching in relation to the Swedish National Curriculum. The outcome of this project (called KIA) was to act as a guide for the administrators who are involved in planning for the new national curriculum standards GY 2007. Employed to create a new national course curriculum for upper secondary school level in the new school subject Sustainable Society. 2008 Contributed to a Conversation Guideline made for science teachers at secondary school level, produced and distributed by The Swedish National Agency for School Improvement. 2006 2011 Arranged and held workshops in SIDA- educations administrated by Ramboll Natura of administrators in Asia and Africa. I have also been involved in two different ESDprojects in Entebbe and Kampala in Uganda and in support of teacher trainees on science education in Lahore, Pakistan. 2010 Invited to Gothenburg University to talk about my research on education for sustainable development. 2010-2011 Employed to create and produce a new national course curriculum for upper secondary school level in the school subject Naturkunskap GY 2011. Also employed to bring forward a commentary material connected to this national course curriculum for Naturkunskap. Supervising of management team and staff (headmasters and teachers) on Kärrtorp Gymnasium in Education for Sustainable Development. Two years of supervision, a licentiate. The thesis was completed in spring -11. Involved in working out a teaching material for science technology and society (NTA) in energy and sustainable development. 2012-2013 Served as course coordinator and teacher in courses at Masters level on scientific theory and method at Stockholm University. Participated in Swedish- Vietnamese cooperation project on developing teaching and research capacity on climate change education (CCE) and technology dissemination in Red River Delta, Central Coast Region and Southern Region of Vietnam.
