Ja, projektidén kom från ett företag. Samtal med kontaktperson hos företaget förekom. Vi har fått ha kontakt med ett företag för att utveckla en produkt vilket har varit till stor nytta! Nu vet jag inte om "samarbeten med internationella studenter" stämmer, men vi har arbetat med utbytesstudenter under projektets gång. Eftersom två internationella studenter var med i gruppen så erbjöd de en Oracle databas vilket var nytt och lärorikt! Not a good experience with them, international students left the group in the middle.

Jag tyckte inte så mycket om Programvaruteknik 1. Om denna kurs hade varit bättre, skulle jag ha kunnat utnytta de kunskap som vi skulle ha fått därifrån. I felt that some groups were stronger then the other in term of development expertise. Therefore it is very important that all the groups should be balance. No group should be too good or too bad. 2. Although it was stressed by the steering group many times that if someone does not work, he/she should be reported to them. However there were such students in two groups. There should be some way that the steering group can access each individual themselves. Kanske inget fel på kursen i sig men min grupp hade inte den så värst bra dynamik och på så sätt blev min upplevelse av kursen försämrad. "Jullovet" kom i konflikt med kursen. Då var kommunikation med resten av gruppen svår. Kursen är väldigt svår att läsa på 50% med studenter från andra program då möter blir rent ut sagt kaotiskt att få till. Kommunikation är också helt hopplöst svårt vilket bidrar till extremt många bortslösade timmar på brist av kommunikation och missuppfattningar. Hade kursen gått på helfart så hade gruppen kunnat ha möten och jobbat framåt varje dag istället för att lägga halva tiden på kommunikation och halva på arbete. Bra kurs! Dock krävde den mycket fokus från kursen som lästes parallellt med denna. I am not happy, I expected to learn more in this course, but I had a bad group members, unexperienced and with communication problems. Kursen var bra upplagd: jag tycker att den imiterar verkligheten ganska bra. Jag önskar att Progr.v.teknik 1 kursen hade gett mig mer, så att jag skulle ha kunnat använda kunskapet bättre. Också önskar att gruppen hade varit bättre sorterad vad gäller ambition och/eller kompetens, dock förstår jag att det kanske inte är så enkelt. Lite konstruktiv kritik till läraren (och för många andra svenska lärare): det är viktigt att kunna vara diplomatisk, men vissa personer förstår rak, ärlig, tydlig prat bättre. Jag hade inte upplevt det som arrogant eller ohövligt. Jag skulle värdesätta om jag fick mer kritik, både konstruntiv och positiv. Annars tycker jag att kursen var nyttig och lärdomsrik. Working with real clients and integration with industry was a great experience. However, the scope of the course was really general and flexible for example the development team and client has full control over the project (decisions regarding architecture of the application). It might be a good idea to force the team to use some sort of design architecture to make the application flexible and modifiable, not the other way around (for example just make it work without taking care of the code quality or design) A few more lectures by course responsible teachers. Also few guest lectures by external clients can add more value to the course.
