an engineering company with resources Wenmec AB is a well-established engineering company that manufactures components, products and complete systems for the industry. The company was founded in 1983 when CJ Wennberg and Kils Industri were merged together. We have been owned by Vänern Handel and Industri AB since 2007. Our head office is in Kil and we have a subsidiary in Nanjing in China. Wenmec is a partner that takes total responsibility for you as the customer. We work with long-term relationships where as systems supplier Wenmec takes responsibility for purchasing, material flow, logistics, delivery planning and your delivery prognoses. We have a flexible production with comprehensive and modern machinery consisting of multi-operation turning machines, boring machines and lathes. In addition to this we also have an experienced team of welders and four welding robots and skilled fitters. The flexibility provides us with the possibility to adapt to the wishes of the customer and have full control over production. And when we have a finished product, we deliver it quickly and safely. 4-5 WELDINg Wenmec has broad welding skills and we are iso 3834-2 certifi ed. We weld in a number of materials - from low alloy to high yield steel in both black and white materials. All our welders are certifi ed in accordance with EN 287 and we have Wpqr in the material groups 1, 3, 8 and 10. Our robot operators are certifi ed in accordance with EN 1418. quality and precision permeate our thinking in all operations regardless if it refers to mig/mag, TIg, mma or powder welding. Our qualifi ed welders can obtain most common welding licenses. for welding large, complex objects, we have a number of large drafting tables. We have modern positioners for up to 30 tonne pieces for increased productivity in mass production. Our largest robot can take 5 tonne pieces. Processing Cutting To meet your needs for cutting, we have a wide range of equipment for this area. We have a number of cutters and boring machines. Dimensionally, we can handle material in lengths of 1-8 metres. CNC control, tool changers and swivel heads make cutting efficient. Turning We have large lathes for long and heavy items. Our largest lathe can take items up to 8 metres in length. For smaller objects, we have smaller lathes that are fitted with driven tools for increased flexibility and efficiency. 6-7 Assembly We have long experience in mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic assembly as well as electric and automation assembly. Our fitters are knowledgeable and we have special skills in relevant areas. If you have high requirements for quality assurance and efficiency, you can calmy turn to us if you have a need for assembly.
