Kristallin nanocellulosa i Övik
CNC pilot facility Cellulose Nano Crystals 100 kg/day pilot plant by end of 2016
CNC - And how it differs from CNF Different processes gives different properties Gray, D. (2014): Nanocellulosic materials, Cost Action FP2015
Size It s a matter of size Nanocelluloses = A wide scope of materials CNC and CNF = Two different materials - Complementary rather than competing The edge of CNC: - Highly crystalline - Narrow size distribution - Self-assembly = Iridescense - Easier to handle industrially? Rough Fine Fines CNF CNC
Pilot facility Cellulose-Rich Raw Material Pre-treatment (Optional) Acid Hydrolysis CNC Recovery Sonication CNC Capacity: 100 kg CNC per day In 2-3% consistency One pot design To minimize cost and space requirement High degree of flexibility Allowing different raw materials etc. Önnesjöstiftelsen Kempestiftelserna
