3 Montering av underbeslag Underbeslag skall monteras på alla underlagstak utom när takbeklädnaden endast består av papp. Mellan takstolarna, under tätningsskiktet, måste extra avbärare spikas om underlagstaket består av folie, duk, tunn bård eller liknande. TUB monteras sedan på dessa avbärare. Se figur 1. Takpannor 1. Ta bort en alternativt två takpannor (beroende på taköverbeslagets storlek). Ta upp hål motsvarande det isolerade röret i underlagstak, mitt i urtaget. Vid underlagstak utan takpapp gå direkt till punkt TUB/TUS placeras (krage uppåt) under takpapp i överkant och på sidorna samt ovanpå takpapp i nederkant, fig 2 och Fäst TUB/TUS i underlagstaket med spik eller skruv, fig Täta alla skarvar vid TUB/TUS med lämplig tätningsmassa, fig 4 och 5. Profilerad takbeklädnad 1. Ta upp hål motsvarande TUBs yttermått i takbeklädnad samt hål motsvarande det isolerade röret i underlagstak. Vid underlagstak utan takpapp gå direkt till punkt TUB/TUS placeras (krage uppåt) under takpapp i överkant och på sidorna samt ovanpå takpapp i nederkant, fig 2 och Fäst TUB/TUS i underlagstaket med spik eller skruv, fig 3 4. Täta alla skarvar vid TUB/TUS med lämplig tätningsmassa, fig 4 och 5. 3 Systemair

5 Montering av överbeslag TOB och THB är takpanneformade för att passa till en eller två takpannor (beroende på överbeslagets storlek) av betongtaktegel av standardtyp (tvåkupig). TOB TOB är avsedd för takfläkt och är försedd med ett jordat eluttag samt elkabel (3 m). Elinstallation får endast utföras av behörig installatör. THB THB takhuv, saknar eluttag och kabel. Montera underbeslag 1. Montera först underbeslag enligt anvisning på sid 3. Montera överbeslag 2. Montera överbeslag TOB eller THB: Överbeslaget läggs under den övre takpanneraden och ovanpå den nedre takpanneraden. De profilerade sidorna skall ligga ovanpå takpannorna på båda sidor om överbeslaget. 3. För att hindra snö och regn från att blåsa in är det viktigt att montera tätningsband. Det gäller framför allt det större överbeslaget (som saknar profilerad plåtkant som täcker mot takpanna). 4. Fäst överbeslag i ovankant mot läkt med spik eller skruv. 5. Takpannor närmast överbeslag spikas mot läkt. 6. Anslut till kanal. 5 Systemair

7 Montering av överbeslag TOS och THS släta taköverbeslag är avsedda för papptak och plåttak, dvs annan takbeklädnad än tvåkupiga takpannor av standardtyp. TOS TOS är avsedd för takfläkt och är försedd med ett jordat eluttag och elkabel (3 m). Elinstallation får endast utföras av behörig installatör. THS THS takhuv, saknar eluttag och elkabel. Montera underbeslag 1. Montera först underbeslag enligt anvisning på sid 3. Takpannor 1. Ta bort en takpanna/takpannor som motsvarar det isolerade röret. Gå till punkt 2 (profilerad takbeklädnad). Profilerad takbeklädnad 1. Om hål ej gjorts vid montering av underbeslag: ta upp ett hål motsvarande det isolerade röret i takbeklädnad. 2. Fäst TOS/THS taköverbeslag mot takbeklädnad eller läkt med spik eller skruv. Fig Montera täckplåt (minst lika bred som taköverbeslag) från nock som överlappar taköverbeslagets plåt. 4. Montera tätningsband avsedd för takbeklädnadens profil under taköverbeslag i framkant. Detta för att förhindra inblåsning av regn och snö. 6. Anslut till kanal. Papptak 1. Ta upp ett hål motsvarande det isolerade röret i tak. 2. Taköverbeslagets plåt placeras under takpapp i överkant och på sidorna samt ovanpå takpapp i nederkant. Fig Fäst TOS eller THS mot underlagstaket med spik eller skruv. Vid underlagstak med lägre bärighet spikas extra avbärare mellan takstolarna (under tätningsskikt) på vilka taköverbeslaget monteras. 9 Installing the lower plate A lower plate must be installed on all roof underlays unless the only cladding is roofing felt. Where there is an underlay of foil, cloth, thin board or similar, extra supports are nailed between the roof trusses (under the sealing layer) and the TUB is fitted on these. See fig 1. TUS/TUB Roof tiles 1. Remove one or two roof tiles (depending on the size of the covering plate). Make a hole in the roof underlay corresponding to the dimensions of the insulated pipe, in the centre of the recess. For lower plates without roofing felt, go direct to point The TUB is placed (collar upwards) under the roofing felt at the upper edge and along the sides, and on top of the roofing felt at the lower edge, fig 2 and Fix the TUB to the roof underlay with nails or screws, fig Seal all joints at the TUB with a suitable sealing compound, fig 4 and 5. Profiled roof cladding (not removable) 1. Make a hole corresponding to the external dimensions of the TUB in the roof cladding, and a hole corresponding to the insulated pipe in the underlay. 11 Installing the covering plate TOB and THB are shaped like roof tiles to fit to one or two (depending on the size of the covering plate) standard concrete roof tiles (twin-ridge). TOB is intended for roof fans, and is supplied with an earthed electrical socket and 3 metres of electrical cable. THB is intended for a cowl, without the electrical socket and cable. Mount lower plate 1. First fit the lower plate in ccordance with the instructions on page 9. Mount covering plate 2. Fit TOB or THB covering plate: the covering plate is placed under the upper row of roof tiles and on top of the lower row of roof tiles. The profiled sides must lie on top of the roof tiles on both sides of the covering plate. 3. On the larger covering plate which does not have a profiled sheet edge which seals against the edge of the roof tiles), a sealing strip is fitted, tailored to the profile of the roof cladding at the lower edge. This prevents rain or snow being blown in. 4. Attach the upper edge of the covering plate to the batten with nails or screws. 5. The roof tiles closest to the covering plate are nailed to the batten. 6. Connect the ducting. TOB THB 11 Systemair

13 Installing the covering plate TOS and THS flat covering plates are intended for felt roofs and sheet metal roofs, i.e. any type of roof other than twin-ridge standard roof tiles. TOS is intended for roof fans, and is supplied with an earthed electrical socket and 3 metres of electrical cable. THS is intended for a cowl, without the electrical socket and cable. TOS Mount lower plate 1. First fit the lower plate in accordance with the instructions on page Remover one or more roof tiles over an area corresponding to the dimensions of the insulated pipe. Go to point 2. Profiled roof cladding 1. If a hole has not been made while installing the lower plate: make a hole in the roof cladding corresponding to the dimensions of the insulated pipe. 2. Attach the TOS/THS covering plate to the roof cladding or batten with nails or screws. Fig Install the covering sheet (at least the same width as the covering plate) with the edge of the ridge overlapping the sheet on the covering plate. 4. Fit the sealing strip intended for the profile of the roof cladding under the covering plate at the forward edge. This prevents rain and snow blowing in. THS 5. Any roof tiles closest to the covering plate are nailed to a batten. 6. Connect the ducting. Felt roof 1. Make a hole in the roof corresponding to the dimensions of the insulated pipe. 2. Place the sheet metal of the covering plate under the edge of the roofing felt at the upper edge and along the sides, and on top of the roofing felt at the lower edge. Fig Fix the TOS or THS to the roof underlay with nails or screws. Where there is an underlay with low bearing capacity, extra supports are nailed between the roof trusses (under the sealing layer) and the lower plate is fitted on these.
