Nordiskt mästerskap 05...07 juni 2009 i Finland. Det här dokumentet innehåller en del ändringar i de tre första styckena. Läs därför noggrant igenom hela dokumentet. För säkerhets skull finns all tidigare information även med. Dern är i slutet av pappret. All brevväxling rörande denna tävling skall adresseras till Finlands bridgeförbunds (FBF) verksamhetsledare Hulda Ahonen. Hennes mejladress är executive.officer@bridgefinland.fi. FBF hoppas att alla nordiska länder i enlighet med NBU beslut 2007 i Lillehammer om sådan möjlighet även skickar ett seniorlag till tävlingen. Ändrad information Mästerskapen spelas från fredagen den femte till söndag den sjunde juni 2009. Tanken är att halva fredagen, lördag och söndag är speldagar och att ankomsten sker antingen på torsdag kväll eller fredag morgon och avfärden är på måndag. Vi har lyckats ordna inkvartering för dem som kommer redan på torsdag på spelplatsen. För att kunna göra denna extra inkvartering så bör ni meddela oss så fort som möjligt. Priset för denna extra övernattning är av samma storleksklass som för de övriga nätterna. De som inte kan få direktflyg till Åbo rekommenderas att komma med nattfärja från Stockholm. Finlands bridgeförbund rf. ordnar transport Åbo färjhamn eller Åbo flygfält till spelplatsen. För att kunna ordna detta behöver vi känna till era resplaner redan i medlet av maj. Ny information Finland har redan utsett sina lag, här meddelas de till kännedom. Märk att vi även har ett seniorlag. Öppen klass: Lag Koistinen Kauko Koistinen, Claes Nyberg, Pekka Viitasalo, Mika Salomaa, Jouni Juuri-Oja och Osmo Kiema. Damer: Lag Sue Sue Bäckström, Raija Tuomi, Hulda Ahonen, Pia Nurmi och som spelande kapten Sanna Kitti.
Seniorer: Lag Uskali Pekka Uskali, Alpo Järvinen, Juuso Leikola, Kaj Sundsten, Matti Koivisto och Olli Puurtinen. Era laguppställingar med eventuell kapten skall ni meddelas senast söndagen den 29 mars. Det måste finnas en person som har en giltig mejladress. Den är sedan ansvarig för att all information från FBF distribueras till lagkamraterna och kaptenen. Konventionskort skall inlämnas till FBF senast måndagen 24 april. Giltiga filformat är Adobe pdf och Microsoft Word eller Excel. Konventionskorten skall om möjligt vara i WBF format. En sammanställning av alla system distribueras under vecka 19. Vi hoppas att ni skall hålla tidtabellen så att motspelarna skall kunna förberedas sig. Den Ansvariga Organisationen (se Law 80 of 2007 LAWS OF DUPLICATE BRIDGE eller 80. ANSVAR OCH ORGANISATION i 2007 års lagar för tävlingsbridge ) Finlands Bridgeförbund rf. De tilläggsbestämmelser som valts av Den Ansvariga Organisationen kommer att översättas till engelska och distribueras under detta års första kvartal. I mån av möjlighet översätts de även tills svenska. Tidschema för detta är oklart. FBF systempolitik (BLF Systems Policy) avviker i några fall från motsvarande regler i WBF Systems Policy. Den finländska politiken gäller under de Nordiska mästerskapen som halls i Finland. För tillfället finns de endast på finska men de kommer att översättas till engelska och möjligen svenska. De distribueras till lagens kontaktpersoner före utgången av mars. Största delen av praktiska angelägenheter kommer att skötas av FBF ordförande Olli A. Manni tilsammans med Lasse Utter, men er kontaktperson i allt är Hulda Ahonen. Tillsammans med anmälningen skall även meddelas övriga önskemål och begränsningar såsom: önskan om enkelrum, specialdiet och rörelsehinder. Nästan oförändrad information Spelplatsen är Harjattula herrgård, som befinner sig i cirka 20 km från Åbo centrum. Från torget i Åbo kommer man vid behov med stadens buss till Harjattula.

Inkvarteringen kostar cirka 30 euro per person per dygn om man bor i tvåpersonersrum. Det finns ett begränsat antal (5st) enpersoners rum och då är priset 50 euro per dygn. Det finns gratis Internetanslutning på hotellet. Vi har dessutom ett matpaket som inkluderar lunch och middag på fredag; morgonmål, lunch och middag på lördag; morgonmål, lunch och jubileumsmiddag på sördag samt morgonmål på måndag till ett i dagens läge uppskattat pris om 100 euro per person. Åbo heter Turku på finska, det finns reguljära flyg med SAS och Finnair från Åbo (TKU) till åtminstone Stockholm (STO) och Köpenhamn (CPH). Från Stockholm kommer man också med färja, vilket tar cirka 12 timmar. Det finns både natt- och dagsfärjor. Nattfärjan ankommer i god tid före spelens början. Nordic Championships 05...07 June, 2009 in Finland. This document contains some changes in the three following paragraphs, so please read the whole document carefully. For your information is also included the previous information, but this is at the end of this paper. All relevant communications regarding this competition must be addressed to the Executive Officer of Bridge League of Finland (BLF). The person is Hulda Ahonen and her Email address is executive.officer@bridgefinland.fi. BLF sincerely hopes that the Nordic countries have the possibility to also send a senior team. This possibility was agreed upon at the NBU meeting in Lillehammer in 2007. Revised information The time for the championships is from Friday the fifth to Sunday the seventh of June 2009. The idea is that playing days are half of Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The arrival can be on Thursday evening or early Friday morning, with departure on Monday. We have arranged that the players that arrive already on Thursday can stay at Harjattula, But we wish that you can inform us as soon as possible if you intend to do this. The price level for this extra night is the same as for the other nights. Bridge League of Finland will take care of your transportation from Turku harbor, or Turku airport to the Harjattula manor. To do this we need to know your traveling arrangements in middle of May. New information Finland has already nominated their teams, the names are here for your information. Please note that there is also a Senior team: Open: Team Koistinen Kauko Koistinen, Claes Nyberg, Pekka Viitasalo, Mika Salomaa, Jouni Juuri-Oja and Osmo Kiema. The names of your teams members as well as the captain must be released latest on Sunday 29 th of March. One person must have a valid Email address and this person is then responsible for distribution of all information from BLF to the teammates. Their system cards must be submitted alternatively as Adobe pdf-document or Microsoft Word alternatively Excel before Monday 27 th of April. The systems should preferably be in WBF format. A compilation all systems will be distributed on week 19. We sincerely hope that you can send the systems in time for the benefit of all participants. The Regulating Authority (see Law 80 of 2007 LAWS OF DUPLICATE BRIDGE ) is the Bridge League of Finland. The Regulating Authority options selected by the BLF will be translated and communicated to the participants during Q1/2009. SBL systeemipolitiikka (BLF Systems Policy) differs in some cases from WBF Systems Policy. The Finnish policy will apply at the Nordic Championships held in Finland. At time they are available only in Finnish, but will be translated to English and distributed to the teams contact person before end of March. Most practical matters will be taken care of by BLF s president Olli A. Manni together with Lasse Utter, but your first contact person is still Hulda Ahonen. With the enrollment should also sent auxiliary information like: wish of single room accommodation, special kind of diets and motion handicaps. Information already included in the first invitation The place for the tournament is Harjattula manor, which is about 20 km from the centre of Turku (Åbo in Swedish). From the market square of Turku there are municipal bus routes to Harjattula (if you have spare time for visiting Turku). More information is available (mostly in Finnish) on the web site www.harjattula.fi. There is a short English part that is copied here:

There is a limited amount (5pcs) single rooms, then the price is higher (50 euros) The hotel advertise that they have free Internet-connection. We have negotiated a meal package that includes lunch and supper on Friday, breakfast on Monday and breakfast, lunch and supper on the other days, except for Sunday, when supper is exchanged to a price giving dinner. The estimated price for this is 100 euro pro person. Finland has three official languages Finnish, Swedish and Lappish. Finnish is the majority to 95%, Swedish is spoken at costal regions and Lappish in Lapland. Turku's name in Swedish is Åbo. There are scheduled air routes with SAS and Finnair from (TKU) to at least Stockholm (STO) and Copenhagen (CPH). From Stockholm you an also take a ferry, which takes about 12 hours. There are ferries that travel during daytime and night. The night ferry arrives in good time before the competition starts. The NBU meeting is preliminary scheduled to Sunday the seventh of June 2009 (20090607T10:00). According to decisions in Lillehammer in 2007 the competition classes are open, women and as trial also seniors.
