The Convention will take place in the Sports Arena (Idrottshuset) on the west side of town. Jönköping is the ninth largest city in Sweden, situated on the southern shore of Lake Vättern. We hope you will have a really good time and enjoy lots of dancing in the spirit of playfulness and fellowship! REGISTRATION We would appreciate it if you register on-line via our home page www.convention2015.se. Click on the Registration link and follow the instructions. When you finish registering, you will receive a confirmation with a booking number via E-mail. If you do not receive a booking confirmation you will have to book once more. (Do not forget to check your junk mail first). Registration and payment before March 15th can be made at a lower price. On-line registrations will be received up to and including April 12th. GRADUATION For the first time in Swedish squaredance history, a graduation will take place at the Convention. The graduation will be arranged by Västsam for all of Sweden s new basic dancers on Friday the 1st of May. All those being graduated at the Convention need only pay half of the convention fee. More information will be sent to the Swedish clubs. E-mail you applications and questions to: graduering@convention2015.se MASS ACCOMMODATION The mass accommodation will be arranged at the Junedal School about 100 metres from the dance halls, at a cost of 80 SEK / night. A simple breakfast can be pre-ordered for 60 SEK / morning. Please bring a sleeping mat and sleeping bag. Check-in opens on Friday at noon. Check-out on Sunday, must be no later than noon. Mass accommodation and breakfast must be booked when you register for the Convention. There is a limited amount of accomodation. Parking will be available at the school for a set fee of 60 SEK for the hole weekend. Note: booking is required, limited parking spaces. Information FOOD Lunch will be served on Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The dining premises are situated about 100 metres from the dance halls. You can choose between a meat dish, a fish dish or a vegetarian alternative. Lunches should be booked when you register for the Convention. Price: 90 SEK. A limited amount of Lunch tickets can also be bought at the information desk during the weekend. There is also a café at the Sports Arena. AFTERPARTY! On Saturday evening the food will be served at 9 p.m. and the dancing will begin at 10 p.m. In true Buffalo Square spirit we will serve a generous taco buffet aimed to suit everyone. A dance band of a more modern type will perform on-stage. They play music well-suited for dancing both bug and foxtrot. You will have the opportunity to sit down and relax in our lounge, mingle a bit and buy something from the bar. before it is time to eat. GRADUERING För första gången i svensk squaredanshistoria, kommer en graduering att ske i samband med ett convention. Var ska vi sova i natt? Gradueringen anordnas av Västsam för alla Sveriges nya basicdansare på fredagen den 1 maj. Alla som gradueras under convention bjuds på halva dansavgiften. Information MAT Dagens lunch serveras fredag, lördag och söndag kl 11.00-14.30. Serveringen ligger ca 100 m från danshallarna. En kött-, en fiskrätt samt ett vegetariskt alternativ finns. Lunch beställs i samband med anmälan, pris 90 kr. Eventuellt kommer det att finnas extra lunchbiljetter att köpa på plats under helgen. På Idrottshuset finns även ett café där det serveras enklare maträtter. AFTERPARTY! På lördagkväll serveras maten kl. 21.00 och från kl. 22.00 blir det dans. I sann Buffalo squares-anda blir det en välfylld tacobuffé som passar alla smaker. På scen står ett dansband av lite modernare slag. De spelar musik som passar för både bugg och foxtrot. Det finns möjlighet att slå sig ner i vår lounge, mingla lite och köpa något ifrån baren, innan det är dags för mat.
