The Stardust Hotel no longer exists; it is now a Fry s Shopping Center. Membership dues in 1961 - $1.00. From 1961 to 1979, the Board consisted of three (3) members;, Vice- and /. From 1961 to 1991, the duties of & were combined.
In 1980, the Board voted to add a second Vice- to the Board, and then eliminated the 2 nd Vice- s position in 1992, then dividing the responsibilities of and. Effective June 2000, the term of office for the AMCA Board Members decreased from two (2) years to one (1) year. Current Active Members to Date: 159 current active members and 8 retired members. Vicky Miel, City Clerk, City of Sahuarita (previously City Clerk, City of Phoenix) is the only Arizona Clerk to serve as IIMC Board to date., City Clerk, served on the IIMC Board of Directors for Region VIII. 2004 Lynn Mulhall,, is the first Deputy Clerk voted to be on the board. (Rules changed prior year) to allow Deputies to have full voting rights. 2011 AMCA was incorporated with the Arizona Corporation Commission. 2011 AMCA entered into an agreement with the Arizona League of Cities and Towns to provide accounting and support services to AMCA. July 2011 Mary Jo Waddell (formerly Kief) retired, Sherry Aguilar remained as Past. July 2012 LuAnne Frost resigned from the board. Darcie McCracken remained as Past. January 2013 Richard Saathoff vacated the position. Jennifer Pena ascended and the Board appointed as Interim to complete the term per the AMCA Constitution. March 2013 Gaye Stidham (married name now Carpenter) resigned, the Board ascended and appointed Bev Bender to complete the term of Interim per the AMCA Constitution. February 2014 Jennifer Pena accepted a new work position that made her ineligible to continue service on the Board. and Bev Bender ascended to Vice and respectively. Ann Kurasaki was appointed as Interim by the Board until July 2014. July 2014 new full board sworn in. Summer 2016 Elizabeth Burke, MMC, Flagstaff City Clerk appointed IIMC Region VIII Director.
