Ansvarsfördelning mellan Trafikledsverket och Trafik- och kommunikationsverket Trafikledsverkets primära uppgifter: planering, utveckling och drift av transportnätet Trafikverkets nuvarande uppgifter som inte har direkt anknytning till transport infrastruktur och relaterade projekt kommer att flyttas över till andra aktörer. I rollen som driftexpert av transportnätet samt ägare av infrastrukturen kommer trafikledsverket att delta i trafiksystemsplanering, åtgärdsplanering och samarbete i planering av markanvändning. Trafikledsverket kommer att vara en primär samarbetspartner till regionala myndigheter och kommuner. Trafik- och kommunikationsverket kommer att koordinera och övervaka nationell transportsystemsplanering och implementering. 7

Responsibilities between Transport Infrastructure Agency and Transport and Communications Agency Principles in the division of duties Transport Infrastructure Agency will become an efficient contracting agency with core functions in infrastructure network planning, development and maintenance. Those duties of the current Transport Agency that are not directly related to transport infrastructure, project planning or management or project implementation will be transferred elsewhere. As an expert in transport infrastructure management and as the possessor of the infrastructure, the Transport Infrastructure Agency will take part in the transport system planning, preparations of transport network measures and cooperation in land-use planning. Transport Infrastructure Agency is the primary partner of regional councils and municipalities! Transport and Communications Agency will coordinate and supervise the preparations of national transport system planning and implementation. 18
