Install SYRD245-CF Card Reader to PDA: 1. Explorer SYRD245-CF folder of SYRIS Xtive CD-ROM 2. Check your PDA OS (Mobile5 or PPC2003) NETCF V2 currently includes seven CAB files. Table below describes platforms and CPUs supported by each CAB. 1

If your PDA OS is Mobile5, please copy files from "\SYRIS Xtive CD-ROM\SYRD245-CF\Mobile5" NETCFv2.wm.armv4i.cab SYRD245 Xtive DLL for PDA_V1001.exe SYRIS_XtiveReader_PDA_4_Spec0254_Software_V1000.dll 4. If your PDA OS is PPC2003, please copy files from "\SYRIS Xtive CD-ROM\SYRD245-CF\PPC2003" NETCFv2.ppc.armv4.cab SYRD245 Xtive DLL for PDA_V1001.exe SYRIS_XtiveReader_PDA_4_Spec0254_Software_V1000.dll 5. Execute the NETCFv2.ppc.armv4.cab file in PDA and restart PDA system. 6. Install CF card reader to PDA CF slot. PS : Some PDA OS are not compatible with CompactFramework v2.0 cause to install fail. Please replace NETCFv2.wm.armv4i.cab to NETCFv1.WM.ARMV4I.cab of CompactFramework v1.0 folder and execute these files again. 2
Execute SYRD245-CF Card Reader program in PDA: 1. Execute SYRD245 Xtive DLL for PDA_V1001.exe in PDA\Program Files\SYRD245 Xtive DLL_PDA\ 2. Launch Card Reader program 3
3. Select correct COM port and click Start button to receive Tag s information. NOTE: Default COM port is COM4 or COM6. If no response when you start program, please reset PDA and select correct COM port. 4
4. Tag information will received and show up on screen when you start Card Reader program. 5. Clear button: Clear Tag information from screen. Halt button: Stop received Tag information Stop button: Stop Card Reader program CMD button: Configure Reader s and Tag s parameters. 5
SYRD245-CF Card Reader program fields explain: Field Explain UID Tag s ID RSSI Received Signal Strength Indication (0~255) [BAT] Low battery indicator DI [SW] Call button alarm (from left to right) [SENSOR] Light sensor alarm V means action. [MO] Vibration switch alarm X means standard. [START] Tag rebooting status T1 Ambient temperature sensor T2 Skin temperature sensor (or humidity sensor) NOTE: Light sensor and Temperature Sensor only for SYTAG245-TM series Humidity sensor only for SYTAG245-HT series 6
[Reader_CMD]:Set Reader parameters 1. Get F/W Version:Get reader s firmware version. 2. Get S/N Number:Get reader s serial number. 3. Set AutoMode:Change data format of TAG from reader to PC client. 4. Get AutoMode:Get data format of TAG from reader to PC client. 5. Set Filter RSSI:Adjust RSSI level (0~250) to filter TAG which have low RSSI signal in reader. 6. Get Filter RSSI:Get RSSI level value. 7. Set Gain Level:Adjust Gain level (1~7) to control reader s read range. Level 7 is the max range (default setting), Level 1 is the shortest read range. 7
8. Stop Reader:Stop Reader operation. 9. Resume Reader:Resume Reader operation. 10. Reset Reader:Reset online reader. Reader will warm restart. 11. Initial Reader:Initial online reader. All setting will set to factory default. 12. R-LED On 1S:Light on the red LED on reader. 13. G-LED On 1S:Light on the green LED on reader. 8
四 [Tag_CMD1]:Set Tag parameters 1 1. Selected Tag UID:Selected Tag s UID. 2. Tag Version:Selected tag s firmware version. 3. ON/OFF Status:Turn on/off selected TAG. TAG will start/stop signal transmission automatically. 4. LED Mode:Set selected TAG LED mode : "00" Green LED Off and Red LED Off. "01" Green LED On and Red LED Off. "02" Green LED Off and Red LED On. "03" Green LED On and Red LED On. 9
5. LED Time:Turn on the LED of selected TAG. Adjust the LED Time to set time of LED on. Ex. Set LED second to 30 and than click Set. TAG will turn on the LED for 3 seconds when received this command. 6. TAG Beep:Remote TAG to beep. Adjust the beep second to set time of beep on. Ex. Set Beep second to 30 and than click Set. TAG will beep for 3 seconds when received this command. 7. TAG Command Cancel:Cancel all command from reader. 10
五 [Tag_CMD2]:Set Tag parameters 2 Set is setting command, Get is read status command. 1. Multiples:Modify transmits multiples of selected TAG. 2. Active Time Mode:Modify transmits frequency of selected TAG TAG transmits frequency = Multiples x active time Ex. Set TAG Transmits Frequency to 1 minute: Multiple (6) x Transmits Frequency (10 sec) = 60 sec 11
3. Receive Count:Modify receive frequency of selected TAG. TAG receive frequency = TAG transmits frequency x Receive Count Ex. TAG transmits frequency = 1 x 2.5sec Receive Count =10 TAG receive frequency = 1 x 2.5sec x 10 = 25 sec 4. Power OnOff Mode:Modify power On/Off mode of selected TAG. 00 : Key Can not On/Off 01 : Key Press 5 Sec Off TAG 02 : Key Press On TAG 03 : Key Press On/Off TAG 12
六 [Tag_TMA03]:Set TM-A03 temperature record TAG parameters 1. Selected Tag UID:Selected Tag s UID. 2. Login Status:Set Selected Tag s login to get temperature records. (Logout status can t get any data from tag.) 3. Run/Stop Status:Run/Stop Selected Tag s record mode. 4. Current Date/Time:Display date and time from OS. 13
5. Get log Status:Click Get Log Data will get temperature records from tag. Tag Run Status : Display Selected Tag s record mode.( Run/Stop) Tag Date/Time : Click Get to read date and time from tag s memory. Click Set to write system s date and time to tag s memory. log max temperature : Display max temperature record from tag. log min temperature : Display min temperature record from tag. Clear All Log Data : Clear all record data from tag s memory. 6. Get Single Record: Get selected temperature record from tag. 7. Available log list:selected displayed available record and click Get to read this record data. 14
