Renew and Rebuild Summary St. Augustine Church has been participating in the Archdiocesan Renew and Rebuild Campaign for eighteen months now. Below is an itemized summary of the campaign money received as well as the capital improvements that your generosity has helped to bring about. We have additional capital projects in development, including the imminent replacement of the rectory roof. The pastor and the finance council sincerely thank you for your continued dedication to this parish and to the Renew and Rebuild Campaign. At the start of the campaign, an interestbearing checking account was established just for Renew and Rebuild funds. $27,000.00 of restricted capital improvement money was used to open the account and kick off the campaign. Automatic deposits from the Archdiocese are made quarterly. 74% of all pledged monies come directly to our parish. 26% of collected monies go to the Archdiocese for various projects and charitable work. This will continue for the next threeandahalf years. In addition, the 2017 Cardinal s Appeal was subsumed into Renew and Rebuild for one year (see below). This is why the Cardinal s Appeal was run separately in 2018. Our original Renew and Rebuild goal was $355,500.00 and todate we have received $360,710.00 in pledged contributions.
