Farewell Father Andrew We must say another Goodbye. This time to our Dear Friend and Priest Father Andrew. You have been such a pleasant addition to our parish during your visit with us this month and you will be missed. God be with you as you begin your travels home. You will always be in our hearts. Please come back to visit us again. Religious Education There will be a 2nd grade parent meeting Wednesday, November 7th at 7 p.m. in the Community Room. Please mark your calendars and make every effort to attend. The 6th grades will be participating in the 9:00 am Mass Sunday, November 11th. Every 6th grade Religious Ed student should attend this Mass and sit with the class. Our annual Wreath Making event is Sunday, November 18th at 10:00 am in the school gym. A continental breakfast will be provided. This is a wonderful family event, come and join the fun! Parish Office News When planning an event, please check with the Parish Office BEFORE the event to be sure that the venue desired is available for use. This will help avoid conflicts with scheduling the use of the school and the Parish Conference Room. Fr. John requests that any flyers to be inserted in the bulletin be approved by him before inclusion. Please submit the flyer to the office at least one week in advance for approval. Thank you. Events at St. Joseph s Church New Paltz Charismatic Prayer Group St. Joseph s Church has a Charismatic Prayer group and they meet the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm in the church. All are welcome to join us and to learn how to be open to the Spirit.

Catholic Daughter News Trust in the Lord Have a Blessed and Joyful Week The Catholic Daughters Annual Penny Social will be on Friday, November 9, 2018 in the school auditorium. Groups clean on a Thursday morning, or a Thursday evening, or a Saturday morning. Because of the rotation, your group cleans once every 6 weeks and we all help wash the Church and decorate it right before Christmas and Easter. If you feel this is something you can do to help keep our church looking attractive and welcoming, I d love to hear from you. REVIVE: Young Adults Ulster & Northern Dutchess Counties, NY A group of college-age to 39 year-old young adults from Ulster & Northern Dutchess Counties whose goal is to REVIVE the Catholic faith in the hearts of young adults in their region.
