SSF GRAFISKA RIKTLINJER 3 En enhetlig grafisk profil Det grafiska formspråket spelar ofta en viktig roll för hur man uppfattas av omvärlden. För en forskningsfinansiär som Stiftelsen för Strategisk Forskning är det viktigt med en framtoning som är seriös utan att för den skull verka tråkig, och som känns modern, medveten och tydlig. Stiftelsens nya grafiska program gäller från och med 2014 och syftet med de riktlinjer som presenteras här är att säkerställa ett konsekvent och enhetligt användande av den nya grafiska profilen.

4 SSF GUIDELINES Logotyp och dekorelement Logotypen består av en symbol och stiftelsens namn. Symbolen, som kan användas såväl fristående som tillsammans med stiftelsens namn, består av element symboliserande de tre områdena teknik, naturvetenskap och medicin. Teknik symboliseras dels av ett kugghjul i stålblått, dels av ettor och nollor. Naturvetenskap symboliseras av bladen och grön färg. Medicin symboliseras av ormen. Logotypen Logotypen finns i både svensk och engelsk variant. Det finns också en variant med bara symbolen, som kan användas i sammanhang där stiftelsens namn upplevs som inarbetat eller på annat sätt framgår av sammanhanget. X Logotypen ska alltid återges mot vit bakgrund, med en frizon runt omkring. Frizonen får inte understiga ett mått motsvarande höjden på F:et i symbolen. Logotypen får alltså aldrig läggas direkt på en bild eller mot en färgad bakgrund. I sådana fall måste den ligga på en vit platta. X X X Logotypens storlek får inte understiga 24 mm höjd för variant med text under och 12 mm för variant utan text. Undantag kan göras för t ex sidhuvuden i trycksaker där mindre storlek kan förekomma. Som komplement till logotypens grundvarianter finns även varianterna i gråskala som kan användas då detta krävs. X I tryckta och visuella presentationer av forskningen och forskningsresultat som tillkommit med stöd av SSF skall nedanstående logotyp användas ( Finansieras av SSF och på engelska Financially supported by SSF ). 24 mm 12 mm

SSF GRAFISKA RIKTLINJER 5 Dekorelement Som dekorelement används linjer i logotypens färger. Linjerna är avsedda att förstärka logotypen och skapa en tydligare helhet. Linjerna kan användas på många sätt, men tänk på att bäst effekt uppnås om man använder dem sparsamt och med känsla. Linjerna får endast läggas mot vit bakgrund. De tre färgade linjerna och mellanrummen emellan dem ska alltid vara lika breda. De kan vara allt ifrån 1 mm (som i sidhuvudet på detta uppslag) till xxx mm (som på framsidan av denna broschyr). 5 mm 5 mm 5 mm 5 mm 5 mm

6 SSF GUIDELINES Färger, typografi och papper Färger Det grafiska programmets grundfärger är stålblått kombinerat med grönt i två olika nyanser, med möjlighet att använda grått och även svart som komplement. Logofärger Logotypens färger går igen i de linjer som används som dekorelement, och kan även användas till andra typer av dekorelement. Det går också bra att använda färgerna i olika procentsatser för tonade plattor och liknande. Även alla procentsatser av svart kan användas. SSF GRAFISKA RIKTLINJER 7 Typografi På brevpapper, visitkort mm används ITC Franklin Gothic Book respektive Centaur MT Italic. I trycksaker används ITC Franklin Gothic Demi som rubriksnitt och till underrubriker. I ingresstext används Centaur MT Italic. Även till bildtexter, där även ITC Franklin Gothic Book kan användas. Till brödtext används Centaur MT. På så kallade roll-ups och annan skyltning används ITC Franklin Gothic Book, Demi och Heavy för att säkerställa att texten blir tydlig och lättläst. I PowerPoint, Word och på webben används Arial. Ett annat pappersalternativ för foldrar och broschyrer av mer omfattande slag, med flera sidor, är Scandia 2000, white. Det är också ett riktigt vitt, obestruket papper som ger en fyllig papperskänsla och bra läsbarhet. 10 SSF GUIDELINES Trycksaker Framsidan Utformningen av framsidor på trycksaker bygger på de tre färgade linjerna/dekorelementen och mellanrummen mellan dessa. Mellanrummen kan utnyttjas för bilder och dessa ska då vara svart/vita i mjuka ljusa gråtoner så att färgbanden kommer till sin rätt. Undantagsvis kan färgbilder användas, men då i en återhållsam ton, så det inte konkurrerar med färgfälten. Man kan antingen använda en bild i varje fält eller göra ett collage med upp till tre bilder i varje fält. I sidans överkant läggs STIFTELSEN FÖR STRATEGISK FORSKNING i typsnittet ITC Franklin Gothic Demi, 5 mm från ovankant. För A5-format: 11 pt, spärr +200 För A4-format: 16 pt, spärr +200 Rubriken placeras i första hand på mittfältet, i Centaur MT Old Style Figures. Här är det tillåtet att leka lite med ordbilden.
