Systemspecifikation Tre föreslagna tillämpningar: Funktionella krav specificerade som UML Use Case (scenario) Kommunikationsbehov beräknas ISA (Intelligent Speed Alert) - Function that informs the driver of a coming changed speed limit and by that support the driver to drive at a legal and safe speed. The application shall also support ecofriendly driving by informing the driver of a lowered speed limit well ahead and when to release the gas pedal and start coasting in order to adapt the vehicle speed to the lowered speed limit without the use of the brakes.
Systemspecifikation WACC (Wireless Adaptive Cruise Control) - In dense traffic with speed fluctuations a cruise control that adapts the vehicle speed to other road user is useful. Using WACC it is possible to adapt to vehicles not in sight and thus improve performance. EVAA (Emergency Vehicle Approaching Alert) - Application for alert drivers of an approaching emergency vehicle. To reduce blocking of emergency vehicles it would be of benefit if the emergency vehicle could inform other road user well in advance. Such system would also improve road safety, since other road users would have longer time to react and give way to the approaching emergency vehicle.
