Syfte med dagen är att: 1) De som sitter i styrelserna för resp Strategisk Innovations Program (SIP) plattform ska ges en förståelse för att genom att ha strategier för sitt deltagande i ramprogrammet kan man ge inspel till kommissionen i syfte att påverka kommande utlysningar och program och därmed skapa större synergier med existerande SIPar och tillhörande EU påverkansplattformar samt, 2) att vi som deltar ska öka vårt EU pro-aktiva arbete i Bryssel för respektive påverkansplattform. A network of Swedish companies, universities, institutes and authorities have formulated a joint Strategic Innovation Programme Strategiskt Innovations Program (SIP) in the area of Internet of Things (IoT). www.iotsverige.se This to strengthen the Swedish position and influence on international research and innovation in IoT. Therefore have IoT Sweden decided to create an organisation and develope processes and network to influence internationally and with focus on European commission Horizon 2020 (H2020). In the area of IoT, Internet-of-Things, influence EU policies and Research & Innovation programmes in the direction to strengthen and devlopes Swedish industries and society: -stimulate IoT-actors to be activly present at the EU-arena, Horizon 2020. -create strengthen financial resources, to boost national efforts -influence EU programmes/calls, to increase the IoT content in line with IoT Swedish strategy -utilize existing relations, stimulate development of new contacts (e.g. SME) between Swedish actors and leading actors in EU and coordinate the activities (create efficiency) Introduction Version 1
Focus and selected industrial areas The strategy focus primarly on the mining, forestry (processindustry) and health industry and SME companies i.e. the innovation carriers bringing new products/services to the big industry (users of IoT).. Note: The selection of mining industry is connected to the fact that EIT Raw Materials (December 2014) at EIT (European Institute for Innovation and Technolgy) selected a new KIC (Knowledge and Innovation Community) in the area of Raw Materials where Sweden is an important node in Primary Resources (Luleå). -increased presence of actors on the EU arena Reserach and Innovation programme - H20202 -created strengthen financial resources -influenced the content of EU workprogramme/calls in the direction that IoT increased -facilitated a coordinated Swedish appearance in EU Bryssel so that the influence is concentrated and more efficient and better effect is achieved. Coordination with other SIP EU-platforms in the ICT area to make Sweden act coordinated in Brussels. -stimulated development of new contacts between Swedish actors, with the objective that xx number of new companies/researchers have established direct collaboration with the European Commission.
