Saivo är ett innovativt, rymligt, stabilt och självstagan tält för mest extrema förhålland. Instruktionerna i tta häfte utgår ifrån hantering av tältet i dåligt vär och vi rekommrar att du alltid följer dna arbetsgång. Vi rekommrar dock att du tar för vana att alltid använda alla markpinnar och linor eftersom vädret kan växla. Welcome to your new Hilleberg Saivo! You have invested in a truly high-d, high quality tt, so take care of your investmt. We strongly recommd that you read these instructions completely before setting up your tt, and that you practice setting up your tt at home before taking it on a backcountry trip. The Saivo is an innovative, roomy self-supporting tt built for the most extreme conditions. Please note that these instructions are based on pitching the tt in severe weather, and we recommd that you practice this method so you are comfortable with it. In less manding conditions, following this method is not as crucial, but it is good ia to create routines for use in case the weather changes. What s Includ with the Saivo One outer tt in Kerlon 800 connected to one inner tt; attached guy lines with line runners; 0 mm poles, x 9 cm; pegs; stuff bags for tt, poles and pegs; one spare pole section; one pole repair sleeve; and an instruction booklet. note: There are possible peg points on the Saivo. The tt itself is self-supporting, and the vestibules require just four pegs. However, we recommd that you carry and use the others, and that you make guy line use part of your normal routine, since weather in the backcountry is always unpredictable! Wir empfehl, dies Arbeitsgang einzustudier und zu befolg. Bei gutem Wetter ist dieser Arbeitsgang nicht so beutd, es ist jedoch ratsam, sich Aufbau-Routin zu schaff um für Wetterumstürze gerüstet zu sein. Extra-Stangsegmt, Reparaturhülse und Aufbauanleitung. achtung! Das Zelt besitzt Ansatzpunkte für die Heringe. Das Zelt ist selbsttragd, die Apsid bötig nur Heringe. Wir empfehl trotzm, dass Du alle Heringe verwst und d Gebrauch r Zeltlein zur normal Routine machst, da das Wetter immer unberechbar ist.
Att välja tältplats Välj så vindskyddad och jämn plats som möjligt, och fri från sådant som kan skada ditt tält. En konvex yta ger bättre spänning och minskar risk för vatt unr tältet. Vintertid kan man packa och jämna till unrlaget med sina skidor och låta snön frysa ihop stund för att skapa jämn och stabil bas för tältet. obs: Kliv aldrig på tältet då evtuella vassa föremål kan skada tältväv. Viktigt om uppsättning av Saivo Uppsättningsförfarant bygger på att ordtligt förankra tältet i mark för att sedan sätta i tältstängerna. Ta för vana att alltid arbeta knästå vid uppsättning. Choosing a tt site Find a spot that is as protected as possible from the wind, and that is ev, level and free of anything that might damage your tt. A slightly convex site will create better stretch in the pitching and minimize moisture collecting unr the tt. In winter, pack down and ev out the snow to create an ev, stable base. note: never step on the tt, as sharp items can damage the tt fabric. A note about pitching the Saivo The pitching sequce shown here starts with pegging down the tt before inserting the poles, as this is the most secure method. Especially in windy conditions, it is a good ia to work while kneeling to minimize the wind s effect on the partially set up tt. Die Suche eines geeignet Zeltplatzes Wähle ein Platz, r möglichst windgeschützt, eb und frei von Geg ständ ist, die Dein Zelt beschädig könnt. Ein leicht konvexer Platz ergibt bessere Spannung und minimiert Nässeansammlung unter m Zelt. Im Winter kann man die Fläche mit Skiern flachtret um eine stabile Basis zu erhalt. achtung: Steige nie auf das Zelt, scharfe Gegstän könn das Zeltmaterial beschädig. Wichtig beim Aufbau vom Saivo Der Aufbau geht davon aus, dass man das Zelt am Bod verankert und dann die Stang einsetzt. Es ist eine gute Gewohnheit, das Zelt immer in knir Position aufzubau. 5
Viktigt om hantering av stänger och markpinnar Våra tältstänger är av högsta kvalitet, m är lättviktsprodukt som kräver korrekt hantering annars kan stång knäckas och i värsta fall leda till fara. Kasta aldrig ut stång för ihopsättning eftersom stånglarna kan få sprickor eller andra skador när slår ihop. Vik ut och sätt ihop sektion i taget. Se till att larna går ihop ordtligt och att inte glir isär eftersom glipa kan orsaka stångbrott. Markpinnarna ska tryckas ner helt och hållet i 5 vinkel. Om t ej går att få ner pinn i rätt vinkel är t bättre att använda flackare vinkel än att låta l av pinn sticka upp ur mark. 5 & 6 Om t är årt att få ner pinn, använd ett hårt föremål för att pressa eller slå ner pinn. Important note about pole and peg usage Our tt poles are the best available, but they are still lightweight aluminum. Incorrectly handled, a pole can break, which could be pottially dangerous. Never extd a pole by flinging it op, since the sections hitting each other can cause damage. Unfold each pole carefully, seat each section into place, and sure that pole sections do not pull apart during pitching, as the resulting gaps can lead to breakage. Press in all pegs completely at about a 5 angle to the surface of the ground. It is better to use a shallower angle (closer to parallel to the surface) than it is to leave a peg sticking up from the ground. 5 & 6 If it is hard to get the pegs in, use a rock or other hard object to press or if necessary, to lightly hammer them in fully. 5 6 6 Wichtig bei Bützung von Gestänge und Hering Unsere Gestänge sind die best, die am Markt erhältlich sind. Sie sind auf Leichtigkeit konzipiert und müss korrekt gehandhabt werd Bei unsachgemäßer Anwdung könn sie brech und Deine Sicherheit gefährd. Wirf nie das Gestänge zum Zusammbau aus, es könnt dadurch Risse or anre Schäd tsteh. Entfalte je Stange und setze ein Segmt nach m anr zusamm. Achte darauf, dass die Teile beim Aufbau nicht auseinanrrutsch, die dadurch tsteh Spalte könnte ein Stangbruch verursach. Presse alle Heringe komplett in einem Winkel von ca 5 in d Bod. Sollte dies nicht möglich sein, ist ein flacherer Winkel besser als dass ein Teil s Herings nicht im Bod steckt. 5 & 6 Bütze ein hart Gegstand wn es schwierig ist, d Hering ganz in d Bod zu schlag. 7
Lägg ut och fäst tältet & Tag ut tältet ur tältpås och fäst av staglinorna i din ryggsäck eller motaran. Lägg ur stängerna och stoppa undan alla påsar så att inte blåser bort. & Se till att absids markpinnefäst är förlängda. Förankra sedan absirna med markpinnarna utan att sträcka tältet för mycket. Se sidan 7 för användning av markpinnar. 5 & 6 Se till att samtliga staglinor är i sitt längsta läge och fäst m provisoriskt med markpinnar. De utgör ett bra stöd unr uppsättning och samtidigt förhindras att linorna trasslar. De skall dock inte vara spända då t förårar montering av stängerna. Layout and secure the tt & Pull the tt from the bag and secure the guy line on the small vestibule to a pack or similar heavy object. Lay out the poles, and put the tt and pole bag in your pocket or pack so they do not blow away during set up. & Lay out the tt and sure the peg tsioners are set to their longest. Peg both ds securely, but not too tight. Refer to page 7 for pegging. 5 & 6 Make sure that all guy lines are set to their longest setting and peg them down temporarily. This provis extra support during pitching and helps prevt the guy lines from tangling. Do not make them too tight, or they will interfere with inserting the poles. 5 8 6 Ausleg und Sichern s Zeltes & Ziehe das Zelt aus m Sack und befestige eine Zeltleine am Rucksack or einem anr fest Gegstand. Nimm die Stang heraus und verstaue alle Beutel, damit sie nicht davonflieg. & Die Spannbänr r Apsid soll in r längst Position eingestellt sein. Verankere die Apsid ohne das Zelt zu spann. Siehe Seite 7 Setz r Heringe. 5 & 6 Kontrolliere dass die Zeltlein in r längst Position eingestellt sind und verankere sie provisorisch mit d Hering. Dies verhinrt, dass sich die Lein verwickeln. Sie soll aber nicht zu straff gespannt sein, das wür die Stangmontage erschwer. 9
vindriktning wind direction Windrichtung SV Uppsättning: montering av stänger obs: Följan arbetsgång är d mest lämpliga vid hårt vär. Ett bra alternativ vid vackert vär är att börja med två längsgå stängerna (nummer och i illustration) för att fortsätta med två tvärgå stängerna ( och ). Börja med tvärstång vid d absid som vetter mot vind (nummer i illustration). För in stång i ss kanal ungefär halvvägs. Fatta sedan tag om stång och dra på kanal tills ss att stång bottnar fullständigt i d slutna änd. 6 Placera nu stångs fria än i stånghållar och fäst krokarna i stång. Dra åt bant vid stånghållar så att d ligger intill tältduk och med bott i nivå med duks nedre kant. 5 6 EN DE Pitching: inserting the poles note: The steps below are the optimal way to pitch the tt in harsh weather. In less manding conditions, starting with the lgthwise poles (numbers and on the illustration), th adding the crossing poles (numbers and ) is a good option. Push a pole into the crossing pole sleeve that is facing into the wind (number on the illustration) about half-way into the sleeve, th hold onto the pole while pushing the pole sleeve material onto the pole. Make sure the pole d is seated completely into the closed d of the pole sleeve. 6 Place the pole d into the plastic pole tsioning cup, and affix the plastic clips onto the exposed part of the pole. Tight the pole tsioner s strap until the pole cup is flat against the tt and flush with the bottom of the tt wall. Aufbau: Einsetz r Stang achtung! Folg Aufbaubeschreibung eignet sich bei hartem Wetter. Bei gutem Wetter beginne mit d Stang in Längsrichtung ( + auf r Skizze), setze dann mit d Seitstang fort. ( + auf r Skizze). Schiebe eine Stange halbwegs in d Stangkanal r Wind Apsis ( auf r Skizze), halte die Stange währd Du d Kanal über die Stange ziehst bis die Spitze am En s Kanals anschlägt 6 Setze nun das freie Stang in d Kunststoffhalter und befestige die Hak an r Stange. Die Stangspanner so straff, dass sie an r Zeltseite anlieg und auf Niveau mit r Zeltkante lieg. 0
Uppsättning: montering av stänger, fortsättning De två längsgå stängerna som korsar varandra vid tältets högsta punkt ska nu monteras ( & i illustration på s 0). Börja med nummer gom att föra in d a i sin kanal. Se till att d bottnar i d slutna ändan och att du drar åt bandspännet. Följ sedan samma arbetsgång med d andra tvärgå stång. Spänn nu absirnas markpinnefäst. Stånghållare och kanaler är gjorda så att du vid behov kan använda dubbla stänger. Det ökar stabilitet och styrkan på tältet unr extrema värsituationer. Pitching: inserting the poles, continued Insert the two lgthwise poles ( & on the illustration on page 0) into their sleeves, beginning with number on the illustration this pole rests on top of pole number. Make sure to seat each pole d completely and to tsion each pole holr properly. Insert the remaining crossing pole (number on the illustration), following the same procedure as in the first pole. Tight the peg tsioners on the vestibule peg points. All pole sleeves and sleeves plus clips are built to accommodate double poles, which increases stability and strgth for the most extreme conditions. Aufbau: Einsetz r Stang (Fortsetzung) Montiere nun die zwei Stang in Längsrichtung ( + auf r Skizze auf Seite 0). Beginne mit Nummer, schiebe die Stange in d Kanal bis an das geschlosse En und straffe d Stangspanner. Montiere die zweite Seitstange so wie die erste. Spanne nun die Heringsbefestigung r Apsid. Stanghalter, Kanäle und Hak könn mit doppelt Stang verwt werd, Stabilität und Stärke bei extrem Bedingung werd dadurch erhöht.
Fäst tältlinorna Se till att samtliga staglinor är i sitt längsta läge och fäst m sedan med markpinnar (se sidan 7). För att undvika att linorna trasslar sig unr uppsättning i hård vind kan man fästa staglinorna innan man monterar stängerna. Spänn sedan linorna, dock utan att formera tältet. Placera tältlinorna som visas i illustration (Om vind blåser hårt från a sidan kan linorna flyttas rakt mot vindriktning.) & För ökad stabilitet ska du snurra staglinorna runt tältstängerna vid punkter där korsar varandra. 6 Dra åt vtilskydts spänn och vira ss lina runt d punkt där stängerna korsar varandra vilket håller nere skydt vid hårt vär. 7 För ökad stabilitet, fäst nu samtliga markfäst med markpinnar och se till att är helt nerslagna. 5 Using the guy lines Set all guy lines to their longest lgth before pegging them, and make sure the pegs are pressed fully into the ground at the proper angle (see page 7). To keep guy lines from tangling while pitching in high winds, peg them down before inserting the poles. note: Guy lines should be taut, but not so tight they form the tt. Orit the guy lines as shown in the illustration. In high winds, pull all windward si guy lines straight out. & For add stability, wrap the guy line attachmt point near the crossing poles crossing point around the crossing point itself. 6 Tight the vt cover s buckles, and wrap the guy lines from the vt cover around the crossing point of the crossing poles. 7 For maximum stability, peg down the perimeter of the tt, making sure to press the pegs completely into the ground. 6 7 Anwdung r Abspannlein Kontrolliere dass die Zeltlein in r längst Position eingestellt sind und verankere sie mit Hering (siehe Seite 7) Um zu verhinrn, dass sich die Lein bei starkem Wind verwickeln, kann man sie vor m Stangeinsatz verankern. achtung: Die Lein soll straffgespannt sein ohne das Zelt zu formier. Setze die Lein wie auf r Skizze gezeigt. Bei starkem Wind: spanne alle Lein gera auf r Windseite. & Für erhöhte Stabilität wickle die Lein um die Kreuzungspunkte r Stang. 6 Spanne die Bänr r Lüfterhaube und wickle die Lein um d Kreuzungspunkt r Stang. 7 Für maximale Stabilität, verankere das Zelt rund herum mit Heringe, die ganz in d Bod gedrückt werd. 5
Användning av yttertältsingångarna Absidingångarna kan öppnas uppifrån och nedifrån och rullas upp och fästas med resårbandsögla och toggle. 5 6 I hårt vär kan dragkedjans kläpp låsas med d röda toggeln. obs: Trampa aldrig på dörrflik eller låt d ligga på mark eftersom risk då är stor att t kommer jord, sand eller annat skräp i blixtlås, vilka då snart slutar fungera. För att undvika att tyget fastnar i blixtlås är t bra att hålla ett finger framför Blixtlåslöpar vid öppning och stängning. Using the outer tt doors The vestibule doors can be oped from the top or bottom, and can be rolled and secured with the toggle and loop system. 5 6 For extra security in heavy winds, the zipper can be locked down with the red toggle. note: Make sure not to step on any of the doors, or to let them lay on the ground; this will drag the zipper in the dirt, and grit in the zippers will reduce their life span. It is also a good ia to keep your finger in the zipper as you op or close it. This keeps the door fabric from catching, and will increase the life of your zippers. 5 6 Anwdung r Außzelteingänge Die Apsiseingänge könn von ob or unt geöffnet und zur Seite gerollt werd. 5 6 Bei Bedarf kann r Reißverschluss mit m rotem Knebel abgesichert werd. achtung: Vermei es, auf die geöffnete Eingangsseite zu tret or diese auf m Bod lieg zu lass. Es besteht sonst die Gefahr, dass Er, Sand or Schmutz in d Reißverschluss komm und dies dauerhaft schädig. Führe beim Öffn und Schließ ein Finger vor m Schieber tlang, um zu verhinrn, dass sich die Zeltplane im Reißverschluss verhakt. 6 7
Användning av innertältsdörrarna Innertältsingångarna kan öppnas från sidan eller uppifrån och hela dörrflik kan rullas åt sidan. Öppna blixtlås till cirka 0 cm före slutet, rulla ihop tyget och fäst t med toggle och resårband vid ingångssidan. 5 & 6 Ingång kan öppnas uppifrån om du bara vill nå något i absid eller för ökad vtilation. 7 & 8 För att samtidigt ha god vtilation och insektsskydd kan man behålla myggnäts öppning stängd och rulla ner innertältingång och fästa d med elastiska öglorna. 5 6 Using the inner tt doors The inner tt trances can be oped from either the si or the top, and the door itself can be fully rolled to the si. Unzip the door until the slir is about 0 cm ( in) from its d, th gather and roll the fabric bundle to the si. Secure it with the toggle and loop fasters. 5 & 6 The inner door can be oped from above if you want to reach into the vestibule or if you want more vtilation. 7 & 8 For air flow and bug protection, unzip the fabric panel and roll it down, th tie down the bundle of fabric by securing the elastic loops to their matching fasters. 7 8 Anwdung r Innzelteingänge Die Eingänge im Innzelt könn von r Seite or von ob her geöffnet und komplett zur Seite gerollt werd. Öffne d Reißverschluss bis auf die letzt 0 cm, rolle d Stoff zusamm und befestige d aufgerollt Eingang mit Knebel und Gummiband am Innzelt. 5 & 6 Der Eingang kann von ob geöffnet werd, wn Du etwas in r Absi suchst or die Durchlüftung erhöh willst. 7 & 8 Zur maximal Durchlüftung sowie zum Schutz vor Insekt wird die Abckung s Moskitonetzes ganz geöffnet, heruntergerollt und mit elastisch Bänrn und Hak fixiert. 8 9
5 Användning av vtilation Tältet har stora och justerbara vtiler i båda absirna. De skyddas mot regn och snö av huv med staglina. Vtilerna har såväl myggnät som vattavvisan och vtileran väv som kan justeras inifrån samt rullas ihop och fästas i nerkant. Maximal vtilation erhålls om äv myggnätet öppnas. 6 Två takvtiler i innertältet har reglerbara luckor, av myggnät och av innertältäv. 6 & 7 Yttertältet har två takvtiler med reglerbar lucka i vatt- och snöavvisan väv. 8 9 Takvtilerna är skydda av skärm som kan kopplas bort för maximal vtilation. Med hjälp av koppling på långsidorna kan d säkras i storm eller ges ökad vtilation i bra vär. 6 7 Using the Vtilation System The large, hood vestibule vts have zipper-adjustable panels, one of a snow-proof, water repellt and highly air permeable fabric, and one of no-see-um mesh. Both are accessible from insi, and both can be oped fully and secured. Air will flow, ev wh both panels are zipped closed, although maximum vting is achieved wh both are rolled away. & 5 The two inner tt roof vts have zipper-adjustable no-see-um mesh and solid fabric panels. 6 & 7 The outer tt vts are zipper-adjustable, snow-proof, breathable panels. All can be adjusted from insi the tt. 8 9 The roof vts are protected by an external vt cover and secured by toggles and rings, which can be removed in fine weather or batted down with two toggle and ring connectors. 8 9 Anwdung r Lüfter Die zwei groß Lüfter an d Apsid sind mit regelbar, doppelwandig Panel verseh, einem schneesicher aber luftdurchlässig und einem aus Moskitonetz. Sie sind von inn zugänglich und könn für beste Vtilation vollständig geöffnet und weggerollt werd. & 5 Die zwei Lüfter im Innzelt besteh aus regelbar, doppelwandig Panel, einer aus Moskitonetz, einer aus Innzeltmaterial. 6 & 7 Die regelbar Lüfter s Außzeltes sind aus wasser- und schneeabweism Material, von inn zugänglich. 8 9 Die Außzelt Lüfter werd außerm von einer mittels Knebel und Ring befestigt Lüfterhaube geschützt, die ganz abgomm or zusätzlich befestigt werd kann. 0
5 6 Nedtagning och packning av tältet. Förläng tältlinor och markfäst för att unrlätta nästa uppsättning. Sopa ur tältet och rgör ev blixtlås med borste. Vid hård vind, fäst av linorna i ett tungt föremål. För att ta ned tältet, gör nu alla momt du gjor vid uppsättning fast i omvänd ordning. Håll i stångkanal och skjut ut stängerna från kanals slutna än. Drag aldrig ur stängerna! Vik ihop stängerna och lägg m, tillsammans med pinnpås, i stångpås. 6 Vik ihop tältet och rulla ihop t med stångpås i mitt och lägg ner t i tältpås. 7 Alternativt, vik eller packa ner tältet i tältpås utan stångpås och förvara d och stångpå-s inklusive pinnpås separat i ryggsäck. Stoppa ej ner stångpås utanför tältet i tältpås eftersom tältet då kan skadas. 7 8 9 Taking down and packing the tt Lgth guy lines and pole tsioner straps so your tt is ready for its next use. Brush out the tt and clean the zippers with a brush. In windy conditions attach one guy line to a heavy object, such as a backpack. To take down the tt, reverse the steps you used during set up. Wh taking out the poles, hold onto the pole sleeve itself while pushing each pole out of the sleeve. Do not simply pull the poles out of their sleeves. Fold the poles and put them, along with the pegs in their bag, into the pole bag. 6 Fold the tt, roll it around the pole bag, and sli the bundle into the tt bag. 7 Alternatively, fold or stuff the tt into the tt bag without the poles, and pack the pole bag separately in your pack. Do not push the pole and peg bags down the si of the filled tt bag, as this could damage your tt. 0 Abbau und Verpack s Zeltes Justiere Leinspanner und Heringsschlauf in äusserster Position, das erleichert d nächst Aufbau. Schüttle d Schmutz aus m Zelt und bürste die Reißverschlüsse sauber. Befestige ggf. das Zelt an einem schwer Gegstand. Baue das Zelt ab in umgekehrter Reihfolge zum Aufbau. Das Gestänge vom En her aus d Kanäl schieb Zieh niemals die Stang aus d Kanäl! Lege die Stang zusamm und stecke sie in d Stangsack. 6 Lege das Zelt zusamm und rolle es um d Stangsack. 7 Alternativ kannst Du das Zelt auch ohne d Stangsack verpack und dies mit m Heringsbeutel separat verstau. Stecke unter kein Umständ d Stangsack neb das Zelt in d Zeltsack. Dieses kann das Zelt beschädig!
Utnyttja förl med hopkoppla inner- och yttertält Du kan utnyttja yttertältet separat gom att ta bort innertältet. obs: Yttertältet är vatttätt m väv är ej vtileran, vilket innebär att t är mer känsligt för konds. Med ett löst skyddsgolv (säljs separat) undviks markfukt och t blir mer bekvämt m t tar ej bort all konds. 5 Gom att lossa hela eller lar av innertältet erhålls ett stort utrymme som blir bra plats för att samla större grupp. obs: I mycket fuktiga förhålland kan du ta loss innertältet innan tältet tas ner och förvara innertältet separat. Nästa gång du sätter upp tältet, sätt först upp ytter tältet och koppla sedan in t torra innertältet. Taking advantage of the linked inner and outer tts Detaching the outer from the inner tt allows you to pitch it as you would the complete tt. note: The outer tt is waterproof but not breathable, so is more prone to condsation. Bei sehr feucht Witterungerhältniss kannst Du das Innzelt vor m Abbau herausnehm und getrnt verpack. Beim nächst Aufbau, baust Du zuerst das Außzelt auf und befestigst dann darin das trocke Innzelt. 5

Sätt på stånghållare i var och av 8 toggles som finns i golvhörn och på långsidan av tältet. obs: Stånghållarna säljs som tillbehör. Skjut stängerna gom resårband med toggles som normalt används för att koppla ihop inner- och yttertält. Sätt in stångändarna i stånghållarna. Om nödvändigt så kan du fästa hörns stånghållare med markpinnar. Fäst därefter tältlinor i stängerna och säkra m med markpinnar. obs: Innertältet är vattavvisan m ej vatttätt. Använd t separat bart i torrt och bra vär. Pitching the inner tt separately Detach the inner tt from the outer tt. Attach a pole holr to each of the 8 toggles around the perimeter of the base of the inner tt. note: Pole holrs are sold separately. Sli the poles through the toggle loops used to connect the inner to the outer tt, and seat the pole ds into the pole holrs. If necessary, peg the pole holrs, starting with the corners. Attach guy lines to the poles and peg them out so the tt sits securely. note: The inner tt is water repellt but not waterproof. Use it alone only in dry conditions and wh you do not expect bad weather. Aufbau s Innzeltes ohne Außzelt Trne das Innzelt vom Außzelt. Verbin je ein Stanghalter (achtung! Als Zubehör erhältlich!) mit d 8 Knebeln an d Eck und d Längsseit s Zeltes. Schiebe die Stang durch die Gummibänr am Innzelt. Setze die Stangd in die Stanghalter. Wn nötig, kannst Du die Stanghalter mit Hering fixier. Befestige die Abspannlein an d Stang und verankere sie ebfalls, damit das Zelt sicher steht. achtung! Das Innzelt ist wasserabweisd jedoch nicht wasserdicht! Verw es separat daher nur bei gutem und trocknem Wetter. 6 7
Skötsel av ditt Saivo Förvara aldrig tältet längre tid utan att torka t först. Efter varje användning skall t hängas upp för torkning, helst med stängerna isatta så att vävarna kommer ifrån varandra. Innan t torkas och packas städa ur tältet ordtligt. Om t behöver rgöras använd trasa med ljummet vatt. Granska hela tältet och laga vid behov. Kontrollera alla blixtlås och borsta ur m med hård borste. Detta är extra viktigt om du har använt tältet i sandiga eller smutsiga områd. Om blixtlås inte sköts ordtligt, minskar ras livslängd. Rgör markpinnarna och ersätt skada eller borttappa. Kontrollera stängerna så t inte finns några skador. Då tältet är torrt, allt är kontrollerat och vid behov åtgärdat, packa t i packpås, rullat runt stångpås med pinnpås istoppad. Finns t ett torrt, ljus skyddat och alt utrymme kan t vara bättre att hänga upp tältet istället för att packa ihop t. Låt aldrig tältet stå uppställt längre tid än nödvändigt i direkt solljus. UV-ljuset skadar alla vävar. Om t är årt att finna skugga och tältet ska stå uppställt flera dagar, framförallt på södra halvklotet, i varmare klimat eller på hög höjd, är t bra att skydda tältet med kel tarp, ett tyg eller liknan. Care & maintance of your Saivo Do not store your tt for any lgth of time without drying it first. After each use, hang it in a dry and well-vted place, preferably with the poles in place so that the inner and outer tt fabrics are kept apart. Before drying and packing your tt, brush off any dirt and shake any dirt or bris out of the inner tt. If the tt needs cleaning, use only lukewarm water and a sponge. Check the tire tt for damage and make repairs if necessary. Check the zippers and brush these with a small, stiff brush. This is especially important if you have be using the tt in a sandy or dusty vironmt. If the zippers are not kept clean their life expectancy will crease! Clean the pegs, and replace damaged or lost ones. Check the poles for pottial damage. After your tt is dry and you have checked it completely, pack it into its stuff bag with the tt rolled around the pole bag (put the peg bag into the pole bag first). Provid you have the room, you can hang the tt in a dry, cool place away from direct light instead of packing it into its bag. Whever possible, try and pitch your tt out of direct sunlight, since UV exposure damages all fabrics. On trips where sha from the sun is scarce and where you will leave your tt set up for several days especially in the southern hemisphere, sert conditions or at very high altitu it is advisable to erect a tarp or something similar over the tt to protect it from UV rays. Reißverschlüsse überprüf und vor allem nach Gebrauch in sandig und schmutzig Verhältniss sauberbürst. Mangeln Pflege r Reißverschlüsse verkürzt r Lebsdauer! Heringe reinig und verlor gegange or beschädigte ersetz. Das Gestänge auf Schäd überprüf. Nach m Trockn und r Kontrolle s Zeltes kann alles wier in die Packbeutel verstaut werd. Packe d Beutel mit d Hering mit zum Gestänge und rolle das Zelt um die Gestängetasche. Wn gügd Platz an einem trock, lichtgeschützt und kühl Ort vorhand ist, kann dort das Zelt besser aufgehängt werd, anstatt es im Beutel aufzubewahr. Direkte, langfristige Sonneinstrahlung besonrs auf r Südhalbkugel, unter wüstähnlich Bedingung or auf großer Höhe schädigt das Gewebe. Daher ist es unter solch Bedingung ratsam, ein Tarp or ähnliches über m Zelt zu erricht, um es vor UV-Strahlung zu schütz. 8 9
