Stöd erbjuds alla svenska SME Riktad stöd till individuella SMEs Diskussion kring företagets behov, identifiering av program och möjliga ingångar Råd vid registrering av företaget i kommissionens databas Diskussion av idéer och formulering av ett projekt, råd kring sammansättning av konsortier osv Genomgång av ansökningsförfarandet, administrativa och finansiella modeller Råd kring hur man skriver ansökan och genomläsning Rådgivning under förhandling av ett godkänt projekt Rådgivning under projektgenomförandet, t ex rapportering En helpdesk för snabba svar på enkla frågor mejladress: eusme@ri.se
SME Instrument Phase 1. Concept & Feasibility Assessment Idea to concept (6 months) The European Union will provide 50 000 in funding, and carry out a feasibility study to verify the viability of the proposed disruptive innovation or concept. The SME will draft an initial business proposal (around 10 pages). Phase 2. Demonstration, Market Replication, R&D Concept to Market-Maturity (1-2 years) Assisted by the EU, the SME will further develop its proposal through innovation activities, such as demonstration, testing, piloting, scaling up, and miniaturisation. It will also draft a more developed business plan (around 30 pages). Proposals will be based on a business plan developed on phase 1 or otherwise. The EU aims to contribute between 0.5 million and 2.5 million. Phase 3. Commercialisation Prepare for Market Launch SMEs will receive extensive support, training, mentorship and facilitating access to risk finance as the project is further polished into a marketable product. Additional support and networking opportunities will be provided by Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). The EU will not provide additional direct funding in this phase.

Stimulating the innovation potential of SMEs for a low carbon and efficient energy system SMEs play a crucial role in developing resource-efficient, costeffective and affordable technology solutions to decarbonise and make more efficient the energy system in a sustainable way. They are expected to strongly contribute to all challenges outlined in the legal base of the Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge Secure, Clean and Efficient Energy in particular with regard to Reducing energy consumption and carbon footprint by smart and sustainable use (including energy-efficient products and services as well as Smart Cities and Communities ), Low-cost, low-carbon electricity supply (including renewable energy as well as CCS and re-use), Alternative fuels and mobile energy sources, A single, smart European electricity grid, New knowledge and technologies, and Robust decision making and public engagement.
