2 Rosengrens the European Burglary and fire protection of valuables The European is a complete range of high-graded, burglary-resistant safes. The whole range is tested and certified according to the demanding European norm EN in Grades II VI. In addition all safes provide 1 hour s fire protection. The European range is available in 6 sizes and has a wide selection of interior fittings. The safes also offer combined storage. By adding a special insert into the safe you can store and protect data media such as CDs, DAT cassettes and DLT tapes against fire. Every model of the European is equipped with Rosengrens key lock RKL-10 as standard.

In Grades III, IV and VI the safes have a supplementary explosive test, which can be ordered as an option. Fire protection: The European safes are also tested and certified according to LPCB in fire-class 60 P for paper, which means that the safes will withstand a fire for 60 minutes. Locks: All models are equipped as standard with our own unique resettable key lock RKL-10 which has more than 90 million possible key permutations. As an option, the safe can also be equipped with a combination lock or electronic lock. Design: The European is attractively finished in off-white and blends well into both modern and classic surroundings. All European safes are prepared for floor anchoring. 8 Secure Safe Castelle for the protection of cash and valuables The Secure Safe Castelle is designed to protect high-value items and cash within the home or business environment. The safe offers a high level of protection and is tested and certified according to EN Grade I. Models The Secure Safe Castelle is available in five sizes. Each size has the option of either key locking or user-friendly electronic locking. Construction The walls of the Secure Safe Castelle contain a special barrier designed to resist the effects of drills, hammers, chisels and cutting equipment and have an overall thickness of 45mm. The door is constructed from 8mm steel plate together with strengthening plates and has specially hardened anti-drill plates protecting the lock, bolts and boltwork. The door is secured by a three-way moving bolt mechanism. The door has three horizontal bolts and two sets of vertical bolts, with two bolts operating upwards and two downwards. All the bolts are chrome-plated and measure 25mm in diameter. Locking All models are available with EN 1300 certified locks, with the option of either a double-bitted key lock or a user-friendly electronic lock. Additional features The safes can be anchored using the fixing kit supplied. In addition, the larger sizes come with a removable shelf. Design The Secure Safe Castelle range has a two-tone powder finish with a light-grey door and dark-grey body.

10 Rosengrens Callisto Burglary protection of your valuables Rosengrens Callisto safes are built using an innovative barrier material which significantly reduces the total weight of the safe but still provides approved burglary protection. Callisto s minimised weight means that the cost of transportation and installation is cut considerably and the installation process is much quicker. The safes are available in six sizes, from 60 to 350 litres, and can be equipped with a range of high-quality interior fittings to maximise storage.

RKL is a Class B lock, approved in accordance with the European norm, EN Callisto can also be fitted with a Class B electronic lock as standard Rosengrens REL. The locks used on safes are certified to ensure that the safe maintains the correct level of burglary protection Product Oveview The Silver, Gold, Carat and Pyramis safes each represent a different level of protection, from Grade III E to VI E respectively, and are available in five sizes. A range of fittings are available to enable you to adapt the safes to meet your day-to-day needs. Burglary Protection The Silver, Gold, Carat and Pyramis safes have been subjected to rigorous testing and have been awarded the A2P label by CNPP (Centre National de Prévention et de Protection). The safes have also met the European standard for burglary protection, EN As the protection grade of the safe increases, so does the insurable value of the items inside: (Silver Grade III E), (Gold Grade IV E), (Carat Grade V E) and (Pyramis Grade VI E). All the safes have four lateral steel bolts, one bottom bolt and a fully anchoring lateral bar for completely secured boltwork. They can be fixed to the floor or a wall with an anchoring kit. Burglary Testing Procedure The procedure is carried out in accordance with the European standard EN In order to obtain this classification, a safe is first subjected to a series of stringent break-in tests using different tools. Points are awarded according to the length of time each break-in attempt took and the type of tools used. The total number of points then determines the grade of the safe. Test Verification Once tested, products are analysed by the test laboratory in order to verify that they correspond to the technical drawings delivered prior to the test. The MxB level B/E and C/E is a high-security mechanical lock. Due to the innovative shape and design of the key, over 10 million different possible keys can be manufactured, making replication extremely difficult. For added security, a blocking system prevents the key from being removed until the door has been properly locked. The Moneo mechanical combination lock (Sensitive or Visual) level C/E permits several million different codes. Its scrambleupon-opening feature ensures that the dials are automatically reset to 0 after being used. The Ev Hora electronic lock level B/E is designed to be used a part of your security network. Ev Hora locks are capable of exchanging and sharing information with one another and with your system, allowing you to rapidly modify security procedures. The XN Actor2 is a blocking device. 34 Fire Testing Procedure In order to obtain certification, Hestia has passed fire endurance, thermal shock and impact tests in accordance with the EN standard. Exposed to flames approaching 1000ºC during the testing procedure, Hestia successfully protected documents which will not tolerate more than 170ºC. Fire Endurance Test Hestia is placed in an oven and heated for one hour (corresponding to S 60 P) in accordance with the international time temperature curve. After having been heated, the cooling period begins. From the moment the burners have stopped and the temperature in the cabinet starts to fall, the cooling period is a minimum of one hour. Thermal Shock and Impact Test First the oven is heated to 1090ºC and a new cabinet is placed inside for exposure to the extreme heat. The oven is heated to 1090ºC for 22.5 minutes. After being removed from the oven, the cabinet is raised 9.15 metres from the ground and dropped onto a bed of pebbles. Then, after a 20-minute period of natural cooling, the cabinet is placed back inside the furnace for an additional 22.5 minutes of heat exposure, this time at a temperature of 840ºC. The final cooling period is the same as that in the fire endurance test. ProGuard s new composite, torch-resistant barrier material ensures burglary protection whilst also reducing its total weight.
