Julia Peirone Córdoba, Argentina. 1973 Although she was born in 1973 in Córdoba, Argentina, Julia Peirone has always lived in Sweden. She studied at the University of Photography in Gothenburg and at the College of Art, Craft and Design in Stockholm, from which she graduated in 2001. Her work has been displayed in many galleries around the world, including the Brändström & Stene Gallery in Stockholm, the Galerie f5,6 in Munich, and the Daniel Cooney Fine Art Gallery in New York. She has also taken part in a number of collective exhibitions. Her work has been displayed in Kiasma, Helsinki s Museum of Modern Art, and other collections. In 2002, she published the book Blind Smek Min Kind, which includes a selection of her early works.
